Job summary

Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a Lead Clinical Educator Registered Nurse for day shift, full-time. This role leads nursing education programs and ensures regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards are met across the unit.

You will serve as a clinical consultant and mentor, fostering a healthy learning environment and coordinating education activities for hospital staff. A Master’s degree and strong acute care background are required, with licensure in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• 5+ years of recent acute care experience.
• Current NJ Professional Registered Nurse license or valid Compact RN license.
• Specialty certification in clinical area, or must be attained within 9 months from hire date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women\'s imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Educator RN Lead is responsible for ensuring that all nursing education meets applicable regulatory, accre ditation, and quality standards of nursing practice in the State of New Jersey and within Pascack Valley Medical Center.
• This individual serves as a role model, clinical consultant and resource for employee development activities. Provides a healthy work environment for learning.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
