Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey RN license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing Education or Advanced Practice Acute Care Nursing; MSN preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, and Staff Development certifications required.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; 5-7 years preferred.
  • Leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support clinical care delivery across adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
  • Provide guidance to nursing staff with clinical decision-making and priority setting.
  • Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and evaluate new clinical techniques, equipment, and nursing practices.
  • Coordinate hospital-wide orientation, mandatory education, and in-service programs.
  • Develop and maintain educational programs for Patient Services clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with faculty on strategic educational planning and staff development.
  • Mentor and support newly hired employees and clinical staff.
  • Prepare administrative reports and oversee educational projects.
  • Ensure compliance with professional practice standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in committees, task forces, and interdisciplinary initiatives.

Job description

The Site Clinical Education Manager serves as a clinical leader, educator, and consultant who supports nursing excellence, staff development, and quality patient care. This hands-on role collaborates with medical and nursing teams to enhance clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and coordinate hospital-wide educational initiatives.

  • Prior experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator, or Advanced Practice Nurse preferredLeadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of staff development and patient education standards/regulations
