The successful candidate will provide diagnostic services, oversee quality programs, and engage in translational research, medical education, and interdepartmental collaborations.

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/DO required with board certification in Clinical Chemistry.
• Fellowship training in Clinical Chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services for Clinical Chemistry.
• Oversee quality measures and annual improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain quality control/assurance programs.
• Ensure proficiency testing enrollment and reporting.
• Provide clinical education to students, residents and fellows.
• Establish and lead translational research at UIC.
