Job summary

American Heritage Companies in Bryson City, NC is seeking an experienced Cleaning Attendant Team Lead. This non-exempt, hourly role oversees cleaning tasks, ensures high standards for train cars and facilities, and steps in as team leader when the Manager is absent or during split shifts.

The ideal candidate has prior cleaning or janitorial experience, a valid driver’s license, and flexible scheduling. You will train staff, monitor safety, and help maintain a secure, clean environment across all

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory or leadership experience.
• Extensive prior cleaning and/or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, washing walls and restrooms to high standards.
• Open and secure train cars, including powering systems on/off as needed for operations.
• Lead and train staff, monitor safety and use of cleaning agents.
• Complete daily task documents and adhere to cleaning schedule.
• Ensure site security and safety near active train tracks.
