Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable lead to ensure facility operations follow policies and procedures at an assigned location in North Carolina. The role involves delegating assignments, supervising staff in the manager’s absence, and maintaining clean, safe buildings for workers and customers.

The Lead will operate specialized equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, and support general janitorial duties. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience, 1 year of customer service experience, 1 year of lead or supervisory experience, valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in the building and ensure quality of work.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management, report barriers.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
