Job summary

Unity House Of Troy is seeking a reliable Cleaner II for the New York State Education Department site in Albany. This part-time role includes supervisory responsibilities and daily site oversight to ensure contract standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must communicate clearly and work well with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and floor care.
• Push large gondolas.
• Clean and restock restrooms.
• Remove trash and recycling from offices and common areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers.
• Maintain bathrooms with cleaning and re-stocking.
• Oversee training and cross training while supporting worksite staff.
• Delegate daily workload to work site staff to ensure accuracy and completion.
• Provide necessary employee information to Contract Team Leader as required and report to NYSID.
• Encourage an environment of inclusion and belonging.
