Job summary

Ny Creates is seeking a part-time Custodial Technician in Albany, NY to maintain cleanliness and safety across office and cleanroom environments. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, managing waste, sanitizing restrooms, and restocking supplies for daily operations.

The available shifts are 7am-11am and 11am-3pm. Only a high school diploma and at least one year of cleaning experience are required, with a background check being required for employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of commercial cleaning experience.
• Basic mechanical ability (e.g., screwdriver, wrench).
• Ability to write basic communications messages.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and mop all floor surfaces in cleanrooms and offices.
• Empty refuse containers in offices and cleanrooms.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms (toilets, urinals, sinks, floors).
• Restock consumables in gowning rooms, PPE cabinets, and janitorial closets.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
