Job summary

Legacy Maintenance Services, LLC is seeking a Lead Cleaner to supervise a team of 1-6 staff and perform heavy cleaning tasks across buildings. Responsibilities include floor care, rug shampooing, restroom stocking, window washing, and waste removal.

The role requires ownership of duties and adherence to safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of commercial cleaning experience, leadership capability, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year commercial cleaning experience.
• Previous leadership experience highly preferred.
• Ability to stand for 95% of an average week.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, including backpack vacuums.
• Must pass drug test, MVR, and background screening when required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Train team to meet customer and company expectations on duties, chemical use, and safety.
• Ensure team tasks are completed daily to meet standards.
• Report issues and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Wash windows and clean furniture or fixtures.
• Disinfect high-touch areas and sanitize surfaces.
• Dispose of trash and manage supplies.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
