Job summary

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is hiring a lead cleaner for a food production setting. Wage is $24.50/hr with a $250 sign-on bonus after 4 months of employment. Shift is 5:30PM-1:30AM, Sunday through Friday. The role includes cleaning plus assisting other cleaners in the facility.

Responsibilities include trash removal, bathroom cleaning, carpet vacuuming, floor care, surface dusting, and maintaining storage areas. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for the full shift.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift.
• Professional and well-groomed appearance.

• Empty trash containers
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify supervisor of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required
