This role emphasizes reducing downtime, coordinating with Plant Supervisors and Operators, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to safety and efficiency initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of related manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated knowledge and experience troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Must be able to read and work with mechanical blueprints, drawings, and sketches.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Technician A will serve the production areas of the business with skilled mechanical support for all areas of production including the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, piping, and minor electrical and electronic systems.
• Overall, responsible for applying mechanical skills to safely determine equipment malfunctions and restore operation with minimal disruption.
• Performs proper scheduling of work to maximize task completion with minimal plant disruption, while lowering costs and creating higher plant efficiency.
