Job summary

IMEG, a leading design consulting firm, seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager (Land Development) in Leesburg, VA. You will oversee projects from pursuit through completion, acting as the main client contact and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

You will drive scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and contract reviews while ensuring quality and compliance with codes. Strong leadership and client relationship skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of project/construction management experience; 10 years preferred.
• Minimum 3 years PM experience in an engineering consulting, architecture, construction management or related professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil engineering and land development projects from pursuit to completion.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and project teams.
• Develop project scopes, fees, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage project financial performance including billings, forecasting, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate staffing across design and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with owner requirements, QC procedures, and codes.
• Lead project status meetings and client presentations.
• Mentor and motivate project team members and strengthen client relationships.
• Respond to client and construction-related concerns and manage change orders.
