Job summary

Thompson & Litton is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to join our West Virginia team in Princeton or Charleston. Lead projects from concept through construction, collaborating with clients and teams across the region.

Qualifications

• PE licensure in West Virginia or reciprocity upon hire.
• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 4+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Work authorization in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction for infrastructure developments.
• Design water, wastewater, and municipal systems.
• Prepare grading plans and stormwater management designs.
• Develop reports, specifications, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies (WVDEP).
• Mentor EITs and junior engineers while ensuring project quality.
