Job summary

Thompson & Litton Inc. is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer, PE to join our team in Princeton or Charleston, WV. You will lead municipal infrastructure projects, collaborate with clients, and mentor junior engineers in a growing ESOP firm with nine offices across three states.

The role emphasizes design through construction, strong communication, and a commitment to technical excellence. WV licensure or reciprocity is required, and U.S. work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in West Virginia, or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity immediately upon hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Four or more years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through construction.
• Design infrastructure for water, wastewater, and municipal systems.
• Lead site development and utility coordination.
• Develop engineering reports, specifications, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies (WVDEP).
• Mentor Engineers-in-Training and design technicians.
