Job summary

AECOM's Water Business Line seeks a Civil Manager to lead design teams on water resources projects in the Los Angeles area. You will manage construction package deliverables, develop hydrologic models, and mentor staff in a collaborative environment.

You will engage with clients, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance with regulations while guiding multi-disciplinary teams through design phases. This hybrid role is based in Southern California with opportunities for leadership within the Water

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of drainage design experience or equivalent
• PE license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design teams for water resources projects.
• Manage construction package deliverables (drawings, specs, estimates).
• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models and permit applications.
• Mentor junior staff and develop high-performing teams.
• Coordinate with clients to secure long-term stormwater solutions.
• Prepare project proposals and support marketing in LA region.
