Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Manager to lead design teams in water resources projects in the Los Angeles area. You will manage hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepare construction deliverables, and mentor junior staff to build high-performing teams.

You will coordinate with clients and other disciplines, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive project proposals to expand AECOM’s surface water practice in Southern California.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 8+ years in drainage design or equivalent.
• P.E. license in CA or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing construction package deliverables and documentation.
• Generate conceptual layouts for flood control and stormwater systems.
• Lead mid- to large-size projects as lead engineer or discipline lead.
• Provide long-term stormwater management solutions for LA region clients.
• Develop proposals and help grow the surface water practice in LA.
• Mentor staff and perform independent technical reviews of reports.
