Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Project Manager Civil Infrastructure to lead roads, bridges and highways in Lisle, IL. You will manage scope, schedule and budget from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring quality and safety.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of civil project management, knowledge of geotechnical/pavement engineering, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 and AutoCAD/Civil 3D. PMP or PE is preferred; some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Masters degree a plus.
• 3-5 years experience managing civil construction or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with project management of large-scale civil works incl. contract administration, cost control and schedule management.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical, structural and pavement engineering principles for highways and bridges.
• PMP and/or PE preferred or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency with scheduling and management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple civil construction projects (roads, bridges, highways, paving) from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cash flows and progress forecasts; manage cost control and change orders.
• Coordinate and supervise project teams, consultants, and subcontractors; monitor performance to meet milestones.
• Serve as primary client contact; maintain relationships and communicate status, risks and deliverables.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement, bidding support and supplier negotiations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety and quality; resolve issues.
• Implement health, safety and environmental procedures; ensure compliance.
• Review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements and QC documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks; prepare contingency plans and resolve disputes or claims.
• Prepare project reports and documentation for progress reporting, invoicing and closeout.
• Provide mentorship and training to project engineers and site staff.
