Job summary

AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a Civil Manager to join our Water group in the Los Angeles office, California. As a Civil Manager, you will lead technical design teams in creating conceptual layouts and designs for water resources projects, including flood control, storm drains, pump stations, and green stormwater projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 Years of related experience in drainage design or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CA or ability to obtain within 6 months of work

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design teams for water resources projects (flood control, storm drains, pump stations).
• Develop hydrologic/hydraulic models, permits, and technical studies.
• Mentor junior staff and develop high-performing teams.
• Coordinate with clients and other disciplines to deliver construction package deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
