SpaceXAI is seeking an exceptional Civil Engineer to lead civil and site development design for hyperscale data center campuses and power facilities. You will architect resilient, high-performance civil infrastructure supporting massive AI compute loads, ultra-dense power, and rapid deployment timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); additional certifications (e.g., Certified Floodplain Manager) a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience on data center, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, ArcGIS; BIM/GIS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end civil and land development engineering for hyperscale data center campuses and industrial sites; deliver site grading, stormwater management, underground utilities, and environmental compliance.
• Lead hydrology and hydraulics analysis, floodplain modeling, stormwater design, and flood mitigation for large sites.
• Design land development plans including earthwork, site grading, erosion control, and foundation prep for heavy industrial loads.
• Perform environmental assessments, permitting, and sustainability evaluations for resilient infrastructure.
• Coordinate across structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and construction teams to integrate civil systems with foundations and power distribution.
• Provide civil input during site selection, geotechnical investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence for data centers and power projects.
• Deliver timely RFIs, submittals, and field inquiries; maintain design intent documents.
• Conduct site visits to verify earthwork, drainage, underground utilities, and erosion controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to SpaceXAI's civil design standards.
