Job summary

HDR is seeking a CAD/BIM Drafter to develop design and construction drawings under supervision for water/wastewater projects. You will perform CAD tasks, create layouts, and assemble plan sets while coordinating with engineering disciplines.

The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Revit, in-office collaboration, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should have an associate degree in Engineering Technology/CAD or equivalent CAD experience and be comfortable with BIM

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology/CAD or 2+ years CAD experience with AutoDesk certification.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Revit for design drawings.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and PDF workflows (BlueBeam Revu).
• Experience with BIM coordination and design drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop design and construction drawings under supervision.
• Perform CAD/BIM tasks using standardized drafting techniques.
• Create design drawings and layouts for water-related conveyance systems.
• Assemble plan sets and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Learn and apply project drafting standards and revisions.
• Work independently to produce redline revisions and designs.
