Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily TIB program operations, including workload management, priorities, deliverables, and performance.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager, Government leadership, and other stakeholders on intelligence priorities and staffing.
  • Lead counterintelligence research and analysis focused on foreign intelligence entity threats to cleared industry, personnel, technologies, information, and facilities.
  • Develop counterintelligence assessments, analytical reports, briefings, and other intelligence products for Government decision making.
  • Identify and assess foreign collection efforts, suspicious activities, threat actors, and indicators presenting risks to U.S. technologies and national security interests.
  • Conduct research using intelligence databases, Government systems, open-source information, and other authorized sources.
  • Review program analytical products for accuracy, quality, completeness, sourcing, and compliance with Government analytics.

ISN is actively seeking a Lead CI Analyst to support the Threat Integration Branch (TIB), providing daily task leadership, counterintelligence analysis, operational coordination, and oversight of program personnel supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) counterintelligence mission. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead daily TIB program operations, including workload management, personnel coordination, priorities, deliverables, and performance.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager, Government leadership, and other stakeholders regarding intelligence priorities, staffing, training, and operational requirements.
  • Lead counterintelligence research and analysis focused on foreign intelligence entity threats to cleared industry, personnel, technologies, information, and facilities.
  • Research, evaluate, and integrate information from classified and unclassified sources to identify threats, vulnerabilities, trends, patterns, and indicators.
  • Develop counterintelligence assessments, analytical reports, briefings, and other intelligence products supporting Government decision making.
  • Identify and assess foreign collection efforts, suspicious activities, threat actors, and other indicators presenting potential risks to U.S. technologies and national security interests.
  • Conduct research and analysis using intelligence databases, Government systems, open-source information, and other authorized sources.
  • Review program analytical products for accuracy, quality, completeness, sourcing, and compliance with Government analytic.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience supporting counterintelligence, intelligence analysis, threat analysis, or a closely related national security mission.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in applying analytical standards to business intelligence data
  • Minimum 8 years of experience using commercial and proprietary business, legal, and intelligence databases and resources
  • Minimum 8 years of experience identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommended solutions
  • Experience conducting all source research and analysis and integrating information from classified and unclassified sources.
  • Experience developing intelligence assessments, analytical reports, briefings, and other products for Government or senior organizational leadership.
  • Experience leading or coordinating analytical teams, workloads, projects, or operational activities is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting DCSA, DoD, the Intelligence Community, NISP, cleared industry, or comparable national security missions is preferred.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of counterintelligence principles, methodologies, threat analysis, and intelligence analysis practices.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop supportable analytical judgments.
  • Ability to identify relationships, patterns, anomalies, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats within complex intelligence information.
  • Ability to develop clear, concise, accurate, and actionable analytical products for Government decision makers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex intelligence information to Government and program leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead personnel, manage competing priorities, and maintain analytical quality across multiple activities.
  • Knowledge of foreign intelligence entity threats, cleared industry, NISP, industrial security, or entity vetting is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable intelligence research, analytical, reporting, and collaboration tools.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship.
  • Must possess and maintain the security clearance and eligibility required for the position.
  • Must meet applicable Government security, suitability, facility access, and information system requirements.
  • Must be capable of appropriately handling classified, sensitive, and Government information.
  • Must successfully complete required DCSA and Government training applicable to assigned responsibilities.
  • Must comply with applicable DoD, DCSA, Intelligence Community, security, and information protection requirements.
  • Must be able to work at designated Government facilities and support other locations as mission requirements dictate.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, market research, or related field
  • Relevant advanced education or professional training in counterintelligence, intelligence analysis, threat analysis, national security, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Relevant Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, DCSA, or other Government intelligence-analysis training and certifications are preferred.
