Job summary

ISN seeks a Lead Task Manager-Entity Vetting to oversee the Due Diligence Unit activities supporting DCSA entity vetting and industrial security missions. You will lead the team, manage workload, coordinate with leadership, and deliver defensible due diligence assessments and recommendations.

This role requires extensive experience in risk analysis, due diligence, and leading analytical teams, with a focus on government programs and national security considerations. On-site at Quantico, VA.

ISN is actively seeking a Lead Task Manager to provides leadership and analytical oversight for the Due Diligence Unit (DDU) activities supporting Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) entity vetting and industrial security mission. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead daily DDU program operations, including workload management, personnel coordination, priorities, deliverables, and performance.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager, Government leadership, and other stakeholders regarding mission priorities, staffing, training, and operational requirements.
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence reviews of companies, ownership structures, key personnel, and business relationships to identify potential national security risks.
  • Research and analyze corporate ownership, beneficial ownership, foreign affiliations, financial interests, organizational structures, and other relevant entity information.
  • Conduct research using Government systems, commercial databases, open-source information, corporate records, financial information, and other authorized sources.
  • Identify risk indicators, information gaps, inconsistencies, and complex relationships requiring additional research, escalation, or Government review.
  • Develop clear and defensible due diligence assessments, analytical reports, recommendations, briefings, and other decision-support products.
  • Review program work products for analytical quality, accuracy, completeness, appropriate sourcing, and compliance.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in risk analysis, competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, finance, or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in applying analytical standards to business intelligence, and security or intelligence data
  • Minimum 8 years of experience using commercial and proprietary business, legal, and intelligence databases and resources
  • Minimum 8 years of experience identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommended solutions
  • Experience researching and analyzing companies, ownership structures, beneficial ownership, foreign affiliations, business relationships, and key individuals.
  • Experience identifying and assessing organizational, financial, foreign influence, or national security risk indicators.
  • Experience developing analytical assessments, reports, recommendations, and briefings for Government or organizational leadership.
  • Experience leading or coordinating analytical teams, workloads, projects, or operational activities is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting DCSA, DoD, the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), FOCI, or comparable national security missions is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to evaluate complex corporate, ownership, financial, and foreign affiliation information.
  • Ability to identify relationships, anomalies, information gaps, and risk indicators within complex business and organizational structures.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, accurate, and defensible analytical products.
  • Strong understanding of source evaluation, documentation, and analytical quality standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations to Government and program leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead personnel, manage competing priorities, and maintain quality across multiple analytical activities.
  • Knowledge of entity vetting, industrial security, the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), and Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) principles is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable research, analytical, case management, and reporting tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship.
  • Must possess and maintain the security clearance and eligibility required for the position.
  • Must meet applicable Government security, suitability, facility access, and information system requirements.
  • Must be capable of appropriately handling classified, proprietary, sensitive, and Government information.
  • Must successfully complete required DCSA and Government training applicable to assigned responsibilities.
  • Must comply with applicable DoD, DCSA, NISP, security, and information protection requirements.
  • Must be able to work at designated Government facilities and support other locations as mission requirements dictate.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, market research, security, intelligence, or related field
  • Relevant professional training or certifications in due diligence, intelligence analysis, industrial security, FOCI, business intelligence, financial analysis, or related disciplines are preferred.
