Job summary

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Children's Behavioral Health Manager to lead pediatric behavioral health programs across Mercy Care locations. The role combines clinical leadership with hands-on care, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy, with direct patient care at least three days weekly.

You will supervise clinicians and staff, ensure trauma-informed care, and oversee intake, referrals, and care coordination while aligning with HRSA/FQHC and Medicaid standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Georgia.
• Minimum three years of experience in behavioral health with leadership or supervision in child-focused populations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee children’s behavioral health programs across Mercy Care locations.
• Supervise clinicians, therapists, case managers, and staff with coaching and development.
• Ensure trauma-informed, culturally responsive care delivery.
• Manage intake, assessment, treatment planning, referral management, and care coordination.
• Monitor quality metrics, outcomes, patient satisfaction, and access-to-care.
• Support implementation of behavioral health grants and special programs.
• Collaborate with medical providers for integrated care models.
• Ensure compliance with HRSA/FQHC standards, Medicaid requirements, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Analyze performance data and drive quality improvement initiatives.
