Job summary

A+ Childcare & Learning is a licensed childcare center seeking LeadTeachers for Two's age group. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks, plus an associate degree or higher. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

High school diploma is required.
Ability to pass all background checks.
Associate degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
Implement weekly lesson plans covering all areas of child development and follow classroom schedule.
Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
Ensure the safety and well-being of each child and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in Nov and May.
Demonstrate physical ability to work around children (sitting, standing, walking, running, stairs).
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet physical requirements.
Carry out daily classroom responsibilities for child care.
