Qualifications

• Meets educational and experience qualifications established by childcare licensing.
• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and health/child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Builds personal and meaningful relationships with YMCA members and participants.
• Helps with implementing curriculum within established guidelines.
• Maintains dependability and classroom stability for the children in care.
• Supervises children, classroom, and activities at all times.
• Performs ongoing observations and evaluations of each child.
• Maintains program site and equipment.
• Keeps required program records.
• Attends family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and training (18 hours/year).
• Fulfills duties appointed by YMCA administration.
