Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a senior technical leader to spearhead the development of new capabilities for advanced air vehicle programs. You will own the technical development from concept refinement through detailed design, build, and flight test, leading a multidisciplinary team and balancing risk with execution pace.

You will drive design trades, safety analyses, and production readiness while coordinating with manufacturing to ensure a smooth transition to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance eligibility.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team through major phase of aircraft EMD.
• Experience working on DoD or advanced development aircraft programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Execution: Own the technical baseline and guide a multidisciplinary team through detailed design, integration, and verification.
• Oversee Prototype Build & Integration: Coordinate fabrication and assembly of prototypes and resolve build challenges.
• Drive the Test Campaign: Plan and execute comprehensive testing including ground, SIL/HIL, and developmental flight tests.
• Manage System Design & Architecture: Guide design trades and interface management for a high-performance air vehicle architecture.
• Ensure Airworthiness & Safety: Serve as technical authority for safety and support flight release activities.
• Problem Solve & Troubleshoot: Drive root cause analysis and implement effective fixes during integration and testing.
• Prepare for Production: Ensure design is production-ready and support transition to manufacturing.
