• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• Experience as a senior technical leader on carrier-based Navy aircraft programs.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through design, build and flight test.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical baseline and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through detailed design, integration, and verification.
• Coordinate prototype build and resolve engineering challenges during the build process.
• Plan and execute a comprehensive test program including ground, SIL/HIL, and flight tests.
• Guide system design trades and interface management for a cohesive air vehicle architecture.
• Ensure airworthiness and safety in partnership with test teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement effective solutions during integration and testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure production-readiness and a clean transition to production.
• Support deployed flight test and customer demonstrations at sites.
