Job summary

Ecolab seeks a Lead Chemist to develop and advance technical platforms, leading research and problem solving to enable new product development. You will work closely with anchor and divisional RDE teams to design, execute and communicate results.

The role requires strong collaboration, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills, with a focus on safe laboratory practices and mentoring junior scientists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with R&D experience; minimum years vary by degree.
• Experience in formulation and chemistry development.
• Experience with EPIC/CAS or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and transfer phase 0-1 chemistry and formulation concepts.
• Collaborate with anchor and divisional RDE leaders on new projects and platforms.
• Develop platforms that meet strategic business needs.
• Interpret data and communicate results in reports and presentations.
• Provide mentorship and work direction for junior lab scientists.
• Maintain 6S lab standards and safety.
