Job summary
UOP, a Honeywell company, seeks a Lead Chemical Engineer to provide technical support for Platforming and Isomerization technologies. You will work from Des Plaines, IL on a hybrid schedule, with initial 90 days onsite, collaborating across R&D, Engineering, and field services to optimize and startup UOP technologies worldwide.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 12+ years of relevant technical experience including UOP Field Operating Service, UOP Engineering, or equivalent industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for UOP technologies including Platforming, Isomerization, NHT, and related processes.
- Collaborate with external customers (licensees, EPCs, vendors) and internal teams (R&D, Engineering, Sales) to deliver reliable technology transfer.
- Lead and participate in engineering reviews, plant startups, and optimization projects to improve safety, reliability, and profitability.
- Develop and update operating manuals, process technology manuals, and training materials for customers and field staff.
