Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Sr. Advanced Technical Services Specialist to deliver CDU/VDU, hydroprocessing and renewable technologies to UOP-licensed units.

This role centers on transferring technology to customers, coordinating with external teams and internal departments, and reporting to the Sr Chemical Engineering Manager. Based in Houston, TX or Des Plaines, IL on a hybrid schedule, the position demands chemical engineering expertise, strong communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of industry experience in gas processing, gas treating or hydrogen technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in R&D technology improvement projects and drive changes.
• Serve as focal point for office-based support of unit startups and catalyst loading.
• Support meetings with customers and engineering reviews for new units and revamps.
• Analyze operating data and provide feedback on commercial information.
• Provide on-site and office troubleshooting for commercial units.
• Conduct on-site audits of commercial units and update manuals and training materials.
• Author MOIs for processes within area of responsibility when opportunities arise.
• Pursue Six Sigma Green Belt certification and apply improvement tools.
• Prepare materials for Technical Symposiums and Sales Meetings.
