Job summary

Hudson Table in Stamford, CT is seeking Lead Chefs to lead our culinary team, running hands-on classes, chef competitions, and private dining events in our open kitchen. You will teach existing hands-on classes and guide Kitchen Assistants through competitions and catered events.

You’ll design and prepare your own menus for on- and off-site catering, or plated multi-course experiences live for guests, while maintaining an engaging, organized flow. Nights and weekends required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience (culinary degree a plus).
• Catering or teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Must be available nights and weekends (minimum 2 shifts per week).

Responsibilities

• Lead chef competitions, cooking classes (all ages), and private catered events
• Teach existing menus and design creative new ones
• Mentor Kitchen Assistants and guide smooth event flow
• Interact with guests in a fun, engaging way
