Job summary

Qualifications

• ASN required with 2 years RN experience at hire.
• KY RN license upon hire.
• BLS CPR within 14 days; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of personnel on Nursing Units, makes patient care assignments, evaluates assignments, facilitates patient through the unit, and directly observes staff performance on their assigned shift.
• Proactively matches resources to provide patient care, supporting staff and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Monitors productivity and ensures staffing and resources align with patient care needs.
• Communicates personnel related concerns to the Unit Manager.
• Uses a logical, systematic approach to problems and problem-solving.
• Facilitates Patient Experience best practices on the unit (hourly rounding, etc.).
