Qualifications

• ASRN required at hire.
• BSN required; new hires have 2 years to enroll and 5 years to complete.
• RN license in KY at hire.
• CPR (BLS) within 14 days.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversees personnel on Nursing Units, assigns and evaluates patient care.
• Matches resources to patient care needs and maintains a therapeutic environment.
• Monitors staffing productivity and aligns resources for patient care.
• Reports personnel concerns to Unit Manager.
• Uses a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Facilitates Patient Experience best practices on the unit.
