Ideal candidates hold an RN or LVN license in good standing, with strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams and guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Execute care plans per policies and physician orders
• Deliver treatments to maintain health and comfort
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments
• Participate in shift reports for care continuity
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs
• Maintain infection control and safe work environment
• Address staffing shortages by arranging replacements as needed
