Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate nursing care in a dynamic facility.

The successful candidate will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, implement care plans, and document care while maintaining infection control and staffing coverage.

RN or LVN licensure in good standing required; strong communication, organization, and emergency response skills essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Excellent clinical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and workflow organization.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
