Job summary

Sterling-Care-2 is seeking a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. The role includes supervising GNA staff, administering medications, and documenting care while following established nursing policies.

The position requires attention to resident rights, accurate charting, infection control, and collaboration with physicians to update care plans. Shifts include 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am in a 24/7 facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State RN/LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to Residents in a respectful environment.
• Supervise GNA and staff to ensure tasks are completed.
• Administer medications per nursing scope and document accordingly.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation with confidentiality.
• Follow care plans and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Attend departmental meetings and communicate with team.
