Job summary

Beffio Company is seeking a Lead Character Animator to guide stylized character animation across two studio hubs, with hands-on creation in Unity3D and Maya. The role emphasizes leadership, artistic standards, and collaboration across US and European teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of game animation experience, a strong reel, and fluency in English, with availability to work ET business hours in a remote, global co-development environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in 3D character animation for games.
• Experience leading or mentoring animation teams.
• Strong understanding of stylized character animation and expressive performances.
• Excellent reel showcasing high-quality character acting and in-game animations.

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional stylized character animations with strong posing, timing, weight and personality.
• Animate expressive body language, performances and distinctive movement styles.
• Polish locomotion, combat, abilities, interactions, idles and character-specific behaviours.
• Collaborate with artists, riggers, and programmers to ensure expressive potential while meeting performance targets.
• Lead and mentor animators, establishing guidelines and maintaining quality across characters and features.
