Zone 5 Technologies is seeking an experienced CFD Lead for the Weapons Performance team in Fort Worth, TX. You will guide high-fidelity CFD studies of air‑launched effects and munitions, mentor peers, and drive CFD standards across programs, partnering with propulsion, GNC, and design teams to ensure robust aerodynamic performance under demanding launch and flight conditions.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years leading CFD analysis in product-driven environments.
• Proficiency with aerospace/defense CFD solvers and meshing tools.
• Experience with missiles, munitions, or high-speed vehicles and CFD validation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead high-fidelity CFD across drag, lift, moments for missiles and interceptors.
• Establish shared CFD standards and ensure data consistency for control laws and simulations.
• Coordinate program-level resource estimates and timelines.
• Validate CFD models with wind tunnel and flight test data; lead root-cause analysis.
• Develop mesh generation and convergence studies for complex geometries.
• Collaborate to integrate CFD data into vehicle design and performance models.
• Present findings at design reviews and internal discussions.
• Mentor other engineers in CFD methods and workflows.
• Create automated workflows for HPC job submission and data reduction.
