Zone 5 Technologies seeks an experienced CFD Lead to drive high-fidelity CFD analyses for air-launched effects and next-generation munitions. You will mentor aerodynamics engineers, set CFD standards, and collaborate with Propulsion, GNC, Design, and Systems Engineering to ensure robust performance under launch and flight conditions.

You will lead validation against wind tunnel and flight data, develop mesh and convergence strategies, and present findings at design reviews.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of CFD analysis leadership in a product-driven environment.
• Experience leading CFD across multiple full-vehicle programs from concept to testing and production.
• Proficiency with CFD solvers: CFD++, OVERFLOW, FUN3D, STAR-CCM+, or ANSYS Fluent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead high-fidelity CFD analyses (RANS/URANS/DES) for missiles and high-speed hardware.
• Establish analysis standards and document CFD-based aerodynamic databases.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate aerodynamic data into designs.
