Job summary

Cottage Health is hiring a Certified Phlebotomy Technician Group Lead to oversee PSC site operations, provide training and competency assessment, and cover shifts to support staffing. You will assist in scheduling, time cards, and safety initiatives while coordinating with the PSC Supervisor on patient and client concerns and quality metrics.

Applicants should have 3 years phlebotomy experience in hospital/PSC settings, a California CPT license, and strong knowledge of LIS and billing processes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience in a PSC or outreach lab or medical setting.
• California CPT license active and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of hospital/laboratory operations and billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for PSC employees and CPT Lead (site lead).
• Assist in training and competency assessment.
• Cover shifts as needed to support staffing.
• Assist in scheduling, time cards, and safety measures.
• Coordinate with PSC Supervisor on operations and quality metrics.
