Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is seeking a Lead CNA at The Village at Summerville to provide compassionate resident care and lead a team of CNAs. You will assist with onboarding, oversee CNA performance, and help maintain a warm, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role requires a SC CNA certification and 3 years of CNA experience, with strong communication and basic computer skills. A supportive team and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CNA certification in SC is required.
• Three years of CNA experience is required.
• Intermediate computer skills are required.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per SC Department of Health CNA training.
• Assist with training and onboarding of CNAs and Nursing Assistants.
• Provide guidance to ensure CNA performance meets expectations.
• Conduct weekly room checks for cleanliness and organization.
• Promote a cordial environment for residents.
• Answer call lights and assist residents with ADLs.
• Stock and distribute supplies and manage charges to residents.
• Clean, disinfect and return equipment after use.

Responsibilities include but not not limited to:

• Perform all duties as per the SC Department of Health CNA training program
• Assist with training and onboarding of the newly hired CNAs and Nursing Assistants
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure CNA work performance meets expectations
• Ensure room cleanliness and organization by performing room checks on a weekly basis
• Promote a cordial environment for the residents
• Answer call lights and provide or assist residents with ADLs
• Stock and distribute supplies as directed. Follow guidelines for charges of items charged to residents and use them for the job without being wasteful
• Clean, disinfect and return all equipment to its designated storage location after each use

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• CNA certified in state of SC
• Three years of experience as a CNA
• Intermediate computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• CPR certification
• Five years of experience as a CNA
