Job summary

Heritage Woods of Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff on the 1st shift in Plainfield, IL. You will assist with ADLs, coordinate with the DON and clinical team, and help maintain resident dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve residents with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), supports coordination of the nursing aide schedule
• Assists with various clerical duties as requested
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information
