Job summary

Heritage Woods of Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 3rd shift team in Plainfield, IL. You will provide compassionate, individualized care based on each resident’s care plan and assist with ADLs to promote independence.

The role requires a CNA certification, a High School diploma or GED, and strong communication skills to interact with residents and families while maintaining dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited CNA program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner.
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance at seminars and staff meetings.
• Comply with confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
