Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant for full-time day shifts at Hackettstown & Newton Medical Centers in Sparta, NJ. The role supports hematology-oncology clinics, coordinating MA staff, handling patient intake, vital signs, specimens, and pre-procedure steps under physician supervision.

Requires High School Diploma and CCMA certification; BLS preferred. Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CCMA certification from NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and medical record updates.
• Assist with examinations and prepare lab samples as directed.
• Coordinate MA/CMAs staffing to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Maintain clean patient rooms and prepare examination spaces.
• Support referrals and scheduling activities.”
