Job summary

Texas Health Resources, Inc. invites you to join our Flower Mound clinic as a Lead Certified Medical Assistant. This full-time role supports providers, guides back-office workflow, and ensures patient readiness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will deliver direct patient care, manage supplies, document vitals, and participate in training of new staff. A CMA certification, 4 years MA experience, and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
• CMA certification is REQUIRED.
• 4 years of Medical Assistant experience is REQUIRED.
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients per Lead CMA process.
• Directs and guides back-office staff to optimize workflow.
• Handles medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control.
• Performs general patient care by established standards and procedures.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
• Obtains and records vital signs and other information.
• Administers medications and vaccines as ordered.
• May collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Schedules patients for diagnostic testing and follows up on results.
• Keeps exam rooms clean and orderly.
• Escalates issues to Practice Manager or physician.
