Job summary

Texas Regional Clinic & Regenerative Medicine is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our on-site team in Houston. You will greet patients, record vitals, manage records in the EMR, and support physicians during examinations as part of a collaborative care approach.

The ideal candidate has CPR certification and CMA license, at least 3 years of office experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA privacy and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required and CMA license preferred.
• Experience working in a medical office setting.
• Strong medical terminology and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, collect history and reason for visit.
• Process telephone messages and referrals.
• Document in EMR with interview, vitals, and treatments.
• Assist clinicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer injections and manage wound care as directed.
• Enter charges for billing and coordinate with departments.
