Job summary

Excela Health is seeking a Senior Central Service Technician to provide sterile instrumentation and trays for the Department of Surgery and other hospital areas. You will work under the Sterile Processing Manager to coordinate instrument processing, support workflow, and ensure operating rooms have the needed tools for efficient, on-time cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher is required.
• One to three years’ experience in Surgical or Central Service.
• Strong leadership ability and independent problem solving.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and inspects surgical instruments.
• Coordinates and maintains sterile processing workflow.
• Ensures proper sterilization cycles and documentation.
• Acts as liaison during supervisor absence.
