Job summary

Bold New Solutions - BNS Power seeks a Central Office Infrastructure & Equipment Installer to install telecommunications infrastructure, power systems, and structured cabling within Central Office and critical infrastructure environments. Working independently or leading small crews, the role ensures installations comply with Telcordia, AT&T, Verizon, and customer standards.

Responsibilities include equipment installation, cabling, fiber work, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years Central Office installation experience.
• Typically 3 years as an Installer II.
• Experience installing equipment from major vendors (Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, Calix, Coriant, Nokia, Fujitsu, Flashwave).
• Experience with major carriers: AT&T, Verizon, Lumen, T-Mobile, Hawaiian Telcom, Frontier.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Install relay racks, cabinets, frames, and equipment bays.
• Install telecommunications equipment.
• Install cable racking and overhead support systems.
• Install DC power cabling and batteries; terminate DC power systems.
• Install fiber, copper, and coaxial cabling; dress and label cables.
• Fusion and mechanical splice fiber; document readings.
