Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination.
• Valid Class A or B CDL driver’s license required; background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive/operate garbage and recycle trucks on designated routes as lead worker.
• Operate knuckle boom loader for debris removal safely.
• Drive flatbed trucks for landfill/bulk item removal.
• Assemble and deliver new garbage cans and recycling bins.
• Refer to work orders, routes, maps, and policies to perform duties.
• Interact with public, coworkers, and city staff to coordinate operations.
• Grease and maintain trucks and equipment as required.
• Assist other city departments during emergencies or events.
