Private Label Staff is seeking a Physical Security Systems Technician with Bosch video-surveillance experience to lead field operations. The role emphasizes diagnosing and correcting camera issues, supporting repairs and replacements, and assisting with security-system projects.

Strong low-voltage, IP-network and documentation skills are essential. The technician will install and troubleshoot Bosch IP cameras, BVMS-related tasks, and supporting cabling while maintaining day-to-day video

Qualifikationen

• Three or more years of hands-on field experience with CCTV, IP video surveillance or related low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot IP cameras and field devices from physical layer through basic network connectivity (Ethernet, PoE, addressing, switch status).
• Experience installing, replacing, aiming, focusing, testing and documenting fixed and PTZ cameras and mounts/housings.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, copper termination/testing, labeling, pathways, and telecom-room patching.
• Ability to read floor plans, camera schedules and wiring diagrams.
• Strong customer-service and documentation skills; ability to work independently.

Aufgaben

• Provide field troubleshooting and maintenance for Bosch IP cameras and related components.
• Diagnose outages, video quality issues and network/link problems; repair or replace as needed.
• Install, adjust, and validate cameras and field hardware per work orders and Bosch guidance.
• Support BVMS and related video-system activities at field-tech level; basic configuration checks and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with management, customer personnel, network staff, vendors, and Bosch support for escalations.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and document recurring or lifecycle issues.
• Assist with security-camera projects including surveys, installations, testing and commissioning.
• Install and troubleshoot supporting low-voltage infrastructure (Cat6/6A, patch panels, PoE).
• Use test tools to verify copper cabling, PoE, network link and connectivity; isolate failure cause.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes, device records, and as-built documentation; identify parts needed.
