NBCUniversal’s USH unit is seeking a Catering Sous Chef to support the Catering Chef in planning, production, and execution of foods for catered and special events. You will help lead a cohesive team, manage schedules, and maintain quality and safety standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires culinary training, at least 3 years in food-service management, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Culinary knowledge & formal training required.
• Minimum 3 years management in the food industry.
• Experience managing a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, creation production and execution of all catered menus and events.
• Ensure proper and consistent production of all food products.
• Maintain appropriate pars for Catering.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, employment, and Union guidelines, as well as Company policies and procedures.
• Support staff and ensure guest satisfaction programs are followed.
• Supervise hourly staff and Seasonal Supervisory staff, provide direction and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with Union contracts and staffing.
